Hitting the roads in 2014, the Jaguar F-Type X152 is widely regarded as the spiritual successor to the iconic E-Type Jag. It's available in both coupe and convertible versions, both with a variety of OEM brake options ranging from the basic front 355mm and rear 325mm discs and cast iron slider calipers, all the way up to the incredibly expensive Carbon Ceramic Brake Pack with front 398mm and rear 380mm discs and forged aluminium calipers.
Given the high price tag for not only for the OEM brake packages, but also replacement discs when the time comes, F-Type drivers have been looking for cheaper aftermarket equivalents. This is where PB Brakes comes in! We have developed a range of braking options at various price points and performance levels.
The smallest option, which requires a minimum of 18" wheels, is the front 356x32mm big 6-pot and rear 330x28mm small 6-pot.
The mid-range option is a front 380x34mm big 8-pot and rear 380x28mm big 6-pot, which fits behind 19" wheels.
And the top-range option, providing you have 20" wheels, is a front 405x36mm big 8-pot and rear 380x28mm big 6-pot combination.
"But what about the OEM electronic parking brake?", you may ponder... We have you covered in this regard with our in-house developed EPB line lock system which bolts up to the OEM parking brake actuators and allows the upgraded rear PB calipers to act as parking brake calipers when the parking brake is applied. Thankfully, this is a bolt-on system which performs to the same standard as the stock system and doesn't require any extra parts or modification.
PB Brake kits include forged 6061 T6 aluminium calipers, with aluminium or stainless pistons, FC25 cast iron discs with billet aluminium center hats in either fixed and floating configuration, stainless braided brake lines, and high performance brake pads.
