We were back at PenBay International circuit in Taiwan for the Second round of the 2016 OTGP Time Attack series. After a podium finish in the previous round we were hoping to replicate that sucess once again. However, the weather had other ideas and the heavens opened...



Luckily the conditions were deemed just under the threshold for what was considered safe and the race went ahead. We put in a time of 2:25 for the first of the two race sessions which left us in 4th place in the 4WD class...



Although we did have a little (or rather big) spin coming down the straight and braking into turn one at around 170mph, hitting the curb on the apex and causing some superficial damage to the front lip...



Conditions were slightly more agreeable for the second session, but not agreeable enough to prevent a second spin on the same corner! Despite that, we made a slight improvement on the morning with a new fastest lap time of 2:22, which was the second fastest of the session in the 4WD class, but still only enough to place us third overall...



So another race down and another trophy for the cabinet back at PB HQ. Until next time...
